Book-Beer Pair #7: BAD GAMES (HELLBENT) and Victory HopDevil

The third installment of this thriller series features Domino Taylor, an ex-Marine keeping a watchful eye over the widowed Amy Lambert and her two children, who have been subjected to an extended nightmare in two previous books. Psychopath Monica Kemp and her disturbed teenage recruit, Kelly Blaine, use a hostage to lure Taylor into a trap located deep in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. From there, it will take Taylor’s physical and mental endurance to survive a custom built house of horrors. As a good portion of this novel takes place in southeastern Pennsylvania, I thought Victory HopDevil IPA by Victory Brewing Company of Downingtown, PA would be appropriate. Described as “bold, spicy, and menacingly delicious” – HopDevil is a great choice for this novel, which is menacing in its own right.
